The Consumer View
The page tour
One button auto-walks visitors through every page of a multi-page scene — and steps aside the instant they take control.
Open in the interactive manual →The interactive version has full-text search, a table of contents, and light/dark themes.
For multi-page scenes, the consumer view offers a "Take the tour" button. It gently flies the camera through every page in turn, pausing on each for a few seconds — a hands-free way to experience the whole site.
It's built to be polite:
- Any interaction stops it. The moment a visitor drags, swipes, or taps, the tour yields and hands back control.
- It stays in sync. The tour uses the normal page navigation, so the pages menu, page metadata, audio, and browser history all keep up.
- It respects reduced motion. The only movement is the camera fly, so it still works for visitors who've asked their device to reduce motion.
The tour appears only when it makes sense
"Take the tour" shows up only for scenes with more than one page. A single-page scene has nowhere to tour to.
