Deleting your account
Under Account ▸ Delete account (the Danger Zone), deletion is self-serve. To prevent accidents, you type DELETE to confirm, and if you have two-factor authentication switched on you're asked for a current code (or a backup code) as well. Cancelling that prompt sends no request at all.
Deleting removes your account and everything you own: sites, saved scenes, uploaded assets, and feedback. Published pages go offline immediately and you're signed out and returned to the logged-out home.
You have 30 days to change your mind
Deletion runs as a soft delete with a grace period: 30 days as it's currently configured, and the confirmation tells you the real number rather than a hardcoded one. During that window nothing has actually been destroyed.
To undo it, simply sign back in. Instead of the usual sign-in wall you get a screen saying the account is scheduled for deletion, how many days are left, and a button that restores it: one click and your scenes, sites and uploads are all back, intact.
One thing does not come back: a paid plan. Deleting cancels the subscription at Stripe there and then, and that half can't be undone, so a restored account returns on the free plan. The account page says so once, on the visit right after the restore, rather than letting a feature saying no be the first sign of it. Subscribing again is a new subscription. Do nothing at all and everything is permanently destroyed when the window ends.
If you're on a paid plan, the confirmation says this before you type: deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately, so you're never charged again, and the rest of the month you'd already paid for is not refunded, since there's no account left to use it with. Re-subscribing later starts a new subscription rather than resuming the old one.
Privacy & terms
The Help menu links to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages. Sign-up is open to everyone; policies get refined as the product grows, so check those pages for the current word.
Your acceptance is recorded against the version of those pages you were shown. If the terms or privacy copy materially changes, the accept step appears once more the next time you open the editor, even though you have used 3dCMS for months. Accepting again is the whole of it; nothing about your account or your scenes changes, and the original date you first accepted is kept.
