Three small operations do most of the organizing in 3dCMS. Select one or more objects, then:

ActionKeyWhat happens
GroupGWraps your selection in a new Group node. Move/rotate/scale the group and everything inside follows. Groups can nest.
DuplicateDMakes a copy alongside the original (named "… copy"), then selects the copy so you can move it.
DeleteDelete / BackspaceRemoves the selection (and a group's children with it). Undoable.

All three are also in the Edit menu, on the Scene Tree row buttons, and in the right-click context menu.

Groups are the "select all" you don't have Since there's no object-level Select All, grouping is how you grab a whole arrangement at once. Build a little scene, select it all with a marquee, press G, and now it moves as one piece.
